Shri Devshibhai Popat Mandhu , popularly known as Devshi Mama visited “Aadhaar” during construction stage twice and liked the concept so much that he expresses his desire to his family members associated with such activity. When Aadhaar was about to start the operations, Shri Devshibhai suddenly passed away and could not see the dream coming true in his presence. However, his family member under guidance of Shri Ashok(Haria) Shah decided to donate Rs. 51,00.000/- to the trust.
Aadhaar Trust in turn reciprocated the gesture by naming the entire complex as Shri Devshi Popat Mandhu Sankul.
In the first residential building, ground floor named as ‘VRAJ’ was dedicated to the memory of Shri Amratlal Jinabhaii Desai and donation of Rs. 11,00,000/- was received from his son Shri Deepak Amratlal Desai. The first floor of the residential building named ‘VIRNDAVAN’ was sponsored by one of the Trustees Shri Ravi Bhat, a retired Banker and Social worker who has been associated with Trust since inception.
Landscaping and the garden at the entrance was sponsored by Dr. H.G. Desai (Founder Chairman of the Trust) family in memory of late Smt Rashmiben Hiralal Desai.
At the end of first year of successful operation by November, 2007 the first residential block was fully occupied Trust thereafter decide to construct a second residential building. Due to o One of our trustee’s close associations with renowned Industrialist (founder of well known companies like Deepak Nitrite Limited and Deepak Fertilisers Limited) and a great Philanthropist Mr. Chimanlal Khimchand Mehta, Aadhaar Trust was fortunate to get second large donor donation of Rs. 51,00,000/-. AADHAAR TRUST reciprocated the good gesture by dedicating second residential building DWARKA and MATHURA to Mr. C. K. Mehta Family.
During the inauguration ceremony of Second residential block viz. DWARKA and MATHURA, Trust was fortunate to have Shri. Mohan Savji Delkar, a leading social worker and Philanthropist hailing from SELVASSA / DADARA NAGAR HAVELI. Shri. Mohan Savji Delkar donated Rs. 11 Lacs. AADHAAR TRUST reciprocated the gesture by naming the garden between the three residential blocks in the memory of his father Late Shri. Savji Delkar.
At the “ Pran Pratishtha “ ceremony of Aadhaareshwar Mahadev Shiv Temple, one of our donors Smt. Sangeeta Rakesh Khetan made an announcement of a generous donation of Rs. 21, 00, 000. AADHAAR TRUST in spontaneous reciprocation has announced to have the Administrative Block building viz.GOKUL after Shri Murli Manohar Khetan Bhavan Family.
In 2013 our well wisher Smt Taraben & Shri Pragji Bhulabhai Nayak; from Acchari/ Canada contributed Rs 51,00,000 towards the redevelopment of the kitchen and dining hall as well for the welfare fund. The welfare fund is so known as Smt Taraben & Shri Pragjibhai Pariwar Welfare Fund.
April 2014, our founder member Shri Jeevan Lal Mamtora dedicated a full building of thirty rooms to Aadhaar Trust for its inmates. The reciprocated by naming the building as JALARAM SMRUTI as per the wish of Jeevankaka.
Relaying of all the three gardens and waste matter management was carried out with the financial help of Rs 15,00,000 from Ms Bindu Nayan Dalal & Shri Nayan Pravinchandra Dalal of Dalal Family Foundation & J.P Trust/U.S.A
Aadhaar Trust inaugurated a Multipurpose Hall in April 2017, with the help of handsome donation of Rs 51’00’000 from Shri Rajen Ramesh Desai of Powerband India Pvt Ltd and trust reciprocated by naming the hall as Shri Rameshchandra Nagarji Desai Multipurpose Hall.

Shri Thakorbhai Naranji Desai & Ms Aruna Desai of Nirmala Foundation, Mumbai to contributed sum of Rs 25,00,000.
The trust was fortunate to receive Rs 25,00,00 from Shri Kirit Gulabbhai Desai towards the installations of all the airconditioners in the Sankul.
On occasion of the birth centenary year of Seth Kishandas Magandas Shroff, the Shroff family donated Rs. 50,00,000 towards the construction of the multipurpose hall. |
